Shruti Hasan: An Overview of her Glorious Career
Shruti Hasan is a popular Indian actress, singer, musician and a dancer. She was born in 28th January, 1986 at Chennai, India. She is active in media world since 2000. Her parents are Kamal Hasan and Sarika Thakur. Her little sister, Akshara Chennai, is famous for Ballroom Latin Dancing. Shruti Hasan studied at Montessori School which is in Chennai. Later on, she moved to Mumbai for studying psychology. Shruti Hasan mainly works in the South Indian movie industry. There are also some Bollywood movies where she acted. Her first work was “Hey Ram” which was released in 2000. Some of her successful films are Yevadu, Balupu, Race Gurram. These films have made her one of the pioneering actress in the Telegu Film Industry. Not only in Telegu films, she has also received praise for her Hindi films too.
Shruti Hassan’s biggest block buster movie was “Gabbar Singh” which earned about 11 million US Dollar. Race Gurram collected 9.4 million US Dollar and Yevadu collected about 7.9 million US Dollar.
Apart from acting, Shruti Hasan is also renowned for her singing and music composition. She sang her first song when she was six in Thevar Magan. At early life, Shruti sang many duet songs with her father. She also became the music composer of a Tamil film named “Unnaipol Oruvan” which got out in 2009.
In her whole career life, she won many awards such as Edison Awards for best music director, Film fare Awards South for being the best female debut, CineMAA Awards, Asia vision Awards and so on.
