There is hardly any Indian who hasn’t heard the name of Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi Sinha is a famous actress in Bollywood Film Industry. She was born in 1987 at Bihar. She is the daughter of Shatrughan and Poonam. Her parents were also actors. She is active in acting since 2010. She started her career as a designer of costume. Her first work as a costume designer was in Mera Dil Leke Dekho film. Her first successful acting appearance was in “Dabangg” which was highly victorious. This movie has made her won Filmfare Award for being the top female debut. 

Some of her other successful films are Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg 2, Son of Sardaar, and Holiday: A Solider is Never Off Duty. Her sophisticated role as a woman who is going through Tuberculosis made her nominated for Filmfare Award for top actress.

Sonakshi Sinha is the youngest of all her siblings. Her father is an associate of Parliament. Sonakshi studied at the Arya Vidya Mandir from Mumbai and later on graduated from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackeresey Women’s University in Fashion Designing.

In personal life, Sonakshi Sinha is known as an animal lover. She has also posed for a campaign named PETA for supporting the sterilization and approval of animals. Currently, she is dating with another actor, Arjun Kapoor.

Sonakshi Sinha has won many awards in her career life including Aspara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards for being the Best Female Debut, Filmfare Awards, and International Indian Film Academy Awards for being the star performer of the year.
